The Han Dynasty Harvesting Crops!
The Han Dynasty harvested many, many essential crops from farming. Those crops included rice paddies and grain. The Han Dynasty had a very large supply of food up until the flood season. The floods ruined all of the farmers crops and they sadly had to replant and start all over. This made the farming more challenging than usual. Most farmers harvested and grew rice paddies due to the popularity and easiness of it. Grain was also very well needed and a good food supply also. The Hans lived off of all the foods you can think of, but this is what they mainly harvested.
- The Han Dynasty had many essential food sources.
- The Han Dynasty had trouble with farming depending on the season.
- Grain and rice were largely consumed during the Han Dynasty.
The Han farmers also faced many governmental problems. The Han farmers needed to grow enough food to support their families and had to stock the granaries. Those are store houses for grain. Framers did not just farm, they had to make their own clothes, build their own houses, and do time of unpaid labor to the government. Overall, being a Han farmer was probably one of the hardest jobs in ancient China.
